Huchuy Qosqo, which means "Little Cusco" in Quechua, is an Inca archaeological site located at 3,600 m above the Sacred Valley. Less visited than other sites, this place offers an intimate experience with well-preserved ruins, agricultural terraces and spectacular views. The ascent passes through Andean communities and puna highlands to reach the citadel.
Morning: Hotel pickup in Cusco, transfer to Lamay, start of hike (3–4 hours ascent).
Midday: Arrival at Huchuy Qosqo, guided tour of the ruins and picnic lunch with Sacred Valley views.
Afternoon: Descent to Chinchero or back to Lamay, return to Cusco.
