Puno and Cusco Package

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO / ARCHAEOLOGICAL CITY TOUR

• We will welcome you at Cusco airport and then transfer you to your hotel. During this time, you will acclimatize to the new altitude; we are at 3,300 meters above sea level here.
• At 1:30 PM, we will pick you up at the hotel and begin the Archaeological City Tour, which will take place from 2:00 PM to around 6:30 PM.
• The tour includes visits to the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha and the Archaeological Complexes of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
• At the end of the first day, we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas, located in the center of Cusco. You can have dinner in the surrounding areas before returning to your hotel for the night.

DAY 02: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / TRANSFER TO AGUAS CALIENTES

• After having breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up at 8:15 AM and depart for the Sacred Valley of the Incas around 8:40 AM.
• Once we arrive at the Sacred Valley, we will visit the Markets of Corao and Pisac.
• We will also visit the Archaeological Complex of Pisac and the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo.
• In the afternoon, you will take the train from Ollantaytambo at 4:36 PM (or 7:00 PM) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
• One of our guides will be waiting for you near the train exit and will arrange a meeting point with you for the next day, then guide you to your hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 03: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

You will have breakfast at the hotel and then, at 5:20 AM, we will head to the bus that will take you to Machu Picchu.
The visit to Machu Picchu will last approximately 2 hours, and after the tour, you will have free time to walk around and enjoy Machu Picchu.
Take the opportunity to capture the most beautiful photos of your life, as you are at one of the seven wonders of the world!
At the end of the Machu Picchu tour, remember to get the stamp on your passport (if you wish).
A very useful tip is to also bring your personal journal to get the stamp; it will look great!
The stamp is located just before the access turnstile to Machu Picchu. There is no specific time to take the bus back from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes, you can take it as you arrive since there are many buses available.
Once you return to Aguas Calientes, you will wait for the train at 2:30 PM (or 6:20 PM), and when you finally return to Ollantaytambo, we will be there waiting to take you back to Cusco, where you will spend the night.

DAY 04: CUSCO - PUNO / ROUTE OF THE SUN

• Once again, you will have breakfast at the hotel and today we will pick you up at 6:30 AM.
• The bus will depart at 7:00 AM and we will visit the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi (Temple of Wiracocha), Sicuani (Buffet Lunch), La Raya (snow-capped mountains), and the Pucara Museum.
• Andahuaylillas is considered the Sistine Chapel of America, where you can appreciate ancient Cusqueñan paintings.
• The Temple of Wiracocha was a storage place where the Incas kept their products for preservation, as there was natural refrigeration, and it also supplied the entire valley of the city of Cusco.
• La Raya is located between the city of Cusco and Puno, where you can enjoy a unique view of the mountains and the snow-capped peaks, which are beautiful for taking photos.
• Additionally, we will have the option to see a small inactive volcano, which is near the hot springs known as La Raya.
• Then we will visit the Pucara Museum, which belongs to the pre-Inca culture and where you can find collections of ceramics and lithics.
• We will welcome you in Puno and transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 05: PUNO - LAKE TITICACA

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 7:00 AM.
• Our boat will depart at 7:30 AM and we will visit the main floating Uros Islands and Taquile Island, where you will interact with the inhabitants of Lake Titicaca, who will show you the traditions and customs of the sacred Lake Titicaca.
• We will return to Puno around 5:00 PM and transfer you back to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 06: PUNO - CUSCO

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 7:30 AM and take you to the bus station, where our bus will depart at 8:00 AM.
• During the journey, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes and highland towns of the Puno and Cusco regions.
• We will arrive in Cusco around 3:00 PM.
• Upon arrival in Cusco, head to the bus station exit, where our team will be waiting to take you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 07: CUSCO - TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

• Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the airport 2 hours before your flight departure.
