Lima, Paracas, Nazca, Arequipa, Puno & Cusco

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA

• Upon arriving at Lima Airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel.
• Free afternoon to rest.
• Overnight in Lima.

DAY 02: LIMA - CITY TOUR OF COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA

• After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have the morning free to explore as you wish.
• The City Tour of Lima will start at 2:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM.
• During the tour, we will visit charming places, including the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site, Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Martín, the Government Palace, the San Francisco Church, San Isidro, Miraflores, the Love Park, and Larcomar.
• In the evening, you will have the opportunity to visit the Magic Water Circuit (costs not included), a charming experience.
• Overnight in Lima.

DAY 03: LIMA - PARACAS

• You will be taken from your hotel to the bus terminal at 3:30 AM (Cruz del Sur) to board the bus departing from Lima to Paracas at 4:00 AM.
• You will arrive in Paracas at 7:00 AM.
• Upon arriving at the bus station, our team will be ready to receive you and accompany you to your hotel.
• We will visit the Ballestas Islands from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, where you can observe marine life and stunning rock formations.
• Then, at 12:00 PM, we will visit the Paracas Reserve, a protected natural area home to various bird, mammal, and reptile species.
• You will also appreciate the beauty of the desert and coastal landscapes.
• Return to Paracas around 4:00 PM and overnight in Paracas.

DAY 04: PARACAS - NAZCA - AREQUIPA

• After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the bus station at 7:00 AM.
• We will board the bus to Nazca at 7:30 AM (Cruz del Sur).
• We will arrive in Nazca at 10:30 AM, where we will be received at the bus station and taken to the aerodrome.
• The flight over the famous Nazca Lines will start at 12:00 PM and will last 35 minutes.
• In the afternoon, we will have free time to explore the charming city of Nazca.
• In the evening, we will board the 10:00 PM bus to Arequipa (Cruz del Sur).
• We will spend the night on the comfort of the executive bus.

DAY 05: AREQUIPA - PANORAMIC CITY TOUR

• On the fifth day of our trip, we will explore the beautiful city of Arequipa, known as the White City due to its volcanic stone buildings.
• We will pick you up at the hotel at 8:40 AM to start the Panoramic City Tour, which will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• During this tour, we will visit the main tourist sites of the city, such as the Arequipa Cathedral, an impressive historical and religious monument dating from the 17th century.
• We will also visit the Carmen Alto Viewpoint, offering views of the Andean landscape and the surrounding volcanoes.
• The Yanahuara Viewpoint, a charming colonial neighborhood with a panoramic view of the city.
• Incalpaca, a factory and store selling products made from alpaca wool, a typical animal of the region.
• Sachaca, a district that preserves colonial architecture and offers a privileged view of the Misti Volcano.
• The Tingo Spa, an ideal place to relax in the hot springs.
• The Founder’s Mansion, an old residence of the city's founder, now functioning as a museum.
• The Sabandía Mill, an 18th-century structure showcasing a water mill in operation.
• And the Paucarpata Terraces, pre-Inca agricultural terraces demonstrating the wisdom of ancient Andean peoples.
• At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to rest and enjoy the evening in Arequipa.
• Overnight in Arequipa.

DAY 06: AREQUIPA - CHIVAY

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 8:30 AM towards Chivay, a town located in the Andean region of Arequipa.
• During the journey, we will pass historical and cultural sites from the Inca and pre-Inca civilizations that inhabited this area.
• Our guide will provide information about these cultures and their traditions.
• We will arrive in Chivay around 12:30 PM and check into the hotel.
• In the afternoon, you will have the option to visit the La Calera hot springs (not included in the package), where you can relax and enjoy the medicinal waters.
• Overnight in Chivay.

DAY 07: CHIVAY - COLCA CANYON - PUNO

• After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up around 7:30 AM to start the tour of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. During the trip, we will visit the town of Chivay.
• In the Canyon, one of the main attractions is the opportunity to observe the majestic flight of condors, birds of prey with an impressive wingspan, ranging from 2.5 to 3 meters, contributing to their ability to fly long distances in the high Andes mountains. There are strategically located viewpoints along the canyon where visitors can admire the spectacular beauty of this canyon.
• We will return to Chivay by 12:00 PM and board the bus from Chivay to Puno (bus 4M).
• Upon arriving at the bus station in Puno at 7:00 PM, our team will be ready to receive you and take you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 08: PUNO – LAKE TITICACA

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 7:00 AM.
• We will embark at 7:30 AM on an exciting journey across Lake Titicaca.
• We will visit the famous Uros Floating Islands and the charming Taquile Island. During this experience, we will have the opportunity to interact with local inhabitants who will share their ancestral traditions and customs of this sacred lake.
• Around 5:00 PM, we will return to Puno, where we will transfer you to the hotel to spend the night.
• Take this time to relax and reflect on the wonders you have witnessed at Lake Titicaca.

DAY 09: PUNO - CUSCO / SUN ROUTE

• After enjoying another delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 6:30 AM.
• The bus will depart at 7:00 AM (Turismo Mer) for a day filled with fascinating visits along the Sun Route.
• Our destinations include the charming Andahuaylillas Chapel, known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, the impressive Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, a buffet lunch in Sicuani, the dazzling mountainous region of La Raya, and the intriguing Pucará Museum.
• In Andahuaylillas, you will have the opportunity to visit the chapel, which houses ancient paintings and Cusco artworks.
• At the Temple of Wiracocha, you will explore this ancient depot where the Incas stored their products for preservation, taking advantage of natural cooling conditions. The temple was responsible for supplying the Cusco valley.
• During the stop at La Raya, you will be treated to spectacular views of the mountains and snow-capped peaks, providing an excellent photo opportunity. You will also be able to see a small inactive volcano.
• At the Pucará Museum, part of the pre-Inca culture, you will admire collections of ceramics and lithic artifacts, immersing yourself in the region’s history and culture.
• Upon arriving in Cusco, we will be waiting to receive you and transfer you to the hotel for the night.
• Visits: Pucará Museum, La Raya (the highest snow-capped peaks), Sicuani (buffet lunch), Raqchi (Temple of Wiracocha), and Andahuaylillas Chapel.
• Arrival in Cusco at 5:00 PM, where we will transfer you to the hotel for the night.

DAY 10: CUSCO - ARCHAEOLOGICAL CITY TOUR

• After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, use the morning to visit museums in Cusco and explore the city’s cultural riches.
• We will pick you up at the hotel at 1:30 PM to start the Archaeological City Tour, which will run from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
• During the tour, we will visit the Qoricancha Temple of the Sun, as well as the impressive archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
• At the end of the tour, we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas, located in the center of Cusco.
• You will have the opportunity to dine in the area before returning to the hotel for the night.

DAY 11: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CONNECTION TO AGUAS CALIENTES

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 8:15 AM and depart for the Sacred Valley around 8:40 AM.
• In the Sacred Valley, we will visit the Corao Markets and Pisaq Markets, where you will have the chance to explore and enjoy the local culture.
• We will then visit the impressive Pisaq Archaeological Complex and the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park, both rich in history and stunning views.
• In the afternoon, you will board the train from Ollantaytambo at 4:36 PM (or 5:00 PM) to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo.
• Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, one of our guides will be waiting near the train station exit.
• The guide will arrange a meeting place for the next morning and then escort you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY 12: CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the bus to Machu Picchu at 5:20 AM for those who wish to appreciate the sunrise at the site.
• The visit to Machu Picchu will be guided and will last approximately 2 hours, allowing you to explore and learn about the history and mysteries of this ancient city.
• After the Machu Picchu tour, remember to stamp (if you wish) your passport. A very good tip here is, if you have a personal diary, also bring it to stamp—it looks great! The stamp is located just before the turnstile that grants access to Machu Picchu.
• After the Machu Picchu visit, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes.
• While waiting for the return train to Ollantaytambo, you will have the option to enjoy the thermal baths in the area, providing a moment of relaxation in the hot springs (optional, not included in the package).
• Additionally, you can visit the butterfly garden, a charming place where you can appreciate various butterfly species. It’s a unique opportunity to contemplate the beauty of nature amidst this incredible adventure (optional, not included in the package).
• In the afternoon, we will board the train to Ollantaytambo.
• Enjoy the train journey while admiring the dazzling landscapes along the way.
• Upon arrival at the station, our team will be ready to receive you and take you back to Cusco, where you will spend the night.

DAY 13: CUSCO – FREE DAY

• After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the entire day to enjoy Cusco at your own pace. You can explore the city's historic streets, visit museums and churches, or shop at local markets.
• Whatever you choose to do, make the most of this free day in Cusco, one of Peru's most charming cities.
• Here are some places you might visit:
  • San Blas Market: A popular market in Cusco located in the San Blas neighborhood, where you can find a variety of artisan products.
  • San Blas Neighborhood: A historic and picturesque neighborhood known for its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and art galleries.
  • San Pedro Market: A local market where you can explore stalls with fruits, vegetables, crafts, and try Peruvian cuisine.
  • Temple of the Company of Jesus (Church of the Company of Jesus): An impressive Jesuit church located near the Plaza de Armas.
  • Plaza de Armas: The main square of Cusco, where you can appreciate colonial architecture and the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
• Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 14: CUSCO – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

• Enjoy your last day in Cusco with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and some free hours to explore the city on your own.
• When it’s time to depart, our team will be ready to take you to the airport safely and comfortably.
• We recommend being ready for the transfer at least 2 hours and 30 minutes before your flight time to avoid any unforeseen issues and ensure a smooth journey.
